Combi 1000

Combi 1000 combines high quality thermal printing, embossing, infill and tipping with magnetic stripe and / or contact or contactless smart card encoding into one single operation, allowing a personalization of your card within seconds. With its integrated MSP (Multi Smart Processing) system the Combi 1000 can process up to four cards simultaneously. Combi 1000 card printer machine can be fitted with special embossing characters to personalize international credit cards, such as VISA and MasterCard (all country specific characters); paired VISA cards (standard and mini card); and perform dual infill personalization of the front and back simultaneously.

Embosser 1000

Embosser 1000 is a PVC card embosser part of CIM product range. Able to obtain a highly customizable plastic card personalization, it can manage embossing, infill and tipping, magnetic stripe and / or contact and contactless smart card encoding into one single card flow. Furthermore, Embosser 1000 can be configured with special embossing characters to personalize VISA, MasterCard, and other international credit and debit cards also with country-specific characters, and perform dual infill simultaneous personalization of the front and back of the card.

Embosser 2000
Embosser 2000 combines heavy duty performance with easy integration in any working environment. Its high productivity is a result of the two embossing drums totaling a 210-character capacity, and of the MSP (Multi Smart Processing) system. Thanks to these devices, Embosser 2000 can process up to 4 cards simultaneously and personalize cards with many different character types. Embosser 2000 belongs to CIM product range capable of managing embossing, infill and tipping, magnetic stripe and / or contact and contactless smart card encoding into just one card flow. Furthermore, Embosser 2000 can be configured with special embossing characters in order to personalize international credit cards, such as VISA and MasterCard, also with country-specific characters, and perform dual infill personalization of front and back simultaneously.

Thermal 1000 offers high performance in large scale card production environments with crisp 300 DPI printing resolution, a touchstone in the thermal transfer printers sector. A professional card cleaning station and dedicated CIM T-Clean tapes have been designed to ensure 100% dust- and debris-free cards for high quality output. Its productivity is improved by a MSP (Multi Smart Processing) system. Thanks to this device Thermal 1000 can process up to three cards simultaneously. Thermal 1000 combines desktop dimensions with heavy duty performance having the possibility to be linked in-line with other Pro Series machines. An optimal ID card printer, it can also personalize, by printing and encoding, international credit cards such as regular VISA and VISA Mini Card.

MultiFeeder 6000 makes multi-card processing simple, offering you complete flexibility and practicality with its six input hoppers capable of holding 200 cards each, for random on demand feeding of up to six different card types. MultiFeeder 6000 can be optionally equipped with a chip encoding station on each hopper for high speed smart card personalization.

Card Affixing and Mailing System 8080
CAM 8080 is a new solution for card matching, affixing and mailing designed for medium to high volume card fulfillment applications. CAM 8080 has been designed to complement the existing CIM Pro Series line and can be set up as a stand-alone unit or in-line with other Pro Series machines utilizing the CIM LinkWare technology for seamless full end-to-end card personalization and fulfillment. CAM 8080 has new card and carrier transport system, HP, as well as an optimized card affixing label station to achieve a throughput of up to 1.800 cards per hour. The replacement of card affixing label supply rolls is fast and easy thus maximizing production throughput.
CAM 8080 can be configured with different data capture modules such as barcode reader for the front and the back of the card and a vision inspection system to optically verify card data (OCR or 2D data matrix). CAM 8080 is also available with a magnetic read back station as well as read back stations for contact and contactless cards. The card transportation system on CAM 8080, HP, has been designed using a friction belt card transport technology thus completely eliminating scratches on both sides of the card.

Fast and Easy Card Affixing and Mailing Solution
Inserter 3000 has been developed with new and advanced features aimed to create high quality personalized cards. It affixes cards quickly and easily to a card carrier which can be personalized in real time using a laser printer. A card inserter system like Inserter 3000 can operate in stand-alone or in-line configuration with other Pro Series machines to offer the most complete and flexible solution; from complete card personalization, to card affixing to a carrier, to card inserting and enveloping with all necessary attachments, ready for distribution.
Inserter 3000 can be configured with MaxiMailer Plus for folding and enveloping the carrier and inserting leaflets.The new MaxiMailer Plus is equipped with a new carrier folding station with improved reliability and performance.MaxiMailer Plus is a multi-station system that revolutionizes the mailing process and can be adapted to various market requirements. Directly connected to Inserter 3000, MaxiMailer Plus receives the carrier with the affixed card, folds and envelops it. Other inserts such as pre-folded brochures or booklets with up to 4 mm / 16 mil thickness can be processed and enveloped.

MultiCard 2011 Software Application for Pro Series

The fastest and smartest way to manage card personalization data and graphics
MultiCard 2011 is CIM’s response to the ever increasing demand for sophisticated software for card production through intelligent and secure card data management and high quality professional graphics elaboration. Intelligent and flexible software application supports the management of different internal variable records, such as: date, time, magnetic track contents, card number and expiration date and others. Thanks to OLEDB and ODBC technologies, Instant Card can easily interface with other software programs, creating easy access to information available from any existing database and data sources such as Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft Office Access/Excel, DBF, Flat Files etc. The internal field management engine permits different field variables to be combined in the same record and fixed text to be added while partial extraction from each field is also possible. MultiCard 2011 manages and stores all information related to the actual card productions such as production date and time, batch identification, card duplications etc.

Data Input
MultiCard 2011 can import information through the use of barcode readers, encoders, chip and contactless readers and OCR technology through camera, then it formats and stores them through direct field access.

Graphics processing
MultiCard 2011 can produce complex graphical effects such as superimposition and gradients, quickly and easily. In addition, the actual design is displayed on the screen. Thus, what appears on the screen is what is actually printed on the card.

Operating environment
MultiCard 2011 is a 32bit Microsoft™ Windows™ software application. Thanks to the “multithreaded programming” technology it is stable and secure. It is written in C/C++, the fastest, ideal for real time applications and most powerful programing language for controlling in real time the hardware right down to its inner most details and lower level.

User friendly
MultiCard 2011 is very easy to use because it provides to users a convenient on-line help system. Users get familiar right from installation time as it has been build using widely acceptable data presentation standards and is installed bythe most popular installation and distribution software application in the industry that is used from all major software development companies including Microsoft™

Machines management and control

MultiCard 2011 manages and controls all CIM’s card personalization machines including the Maxima Series and the Pro Series. Machines’ setup is realized by a MS Window™ dialog box where all machines configurable components can be directly modified. MultiCard 2011 manages and controls also multiple machines connected in-line. A configuration “wizard” helps the installer or the operator to setup machine’s parameters and the printing job’s parameters easily.
