Fast and Easy Card Affixing and Mailing Solution
Inserter 3000 has been developed with new and advanced features aimed to create high quality personalized cards. It affixes cards quickly and easily to a card carrier which can be personalized in real time using a laser printer. A card inserter system like Inserter 3000 can operate in stand-alone or in-line configuration with other Pro Series machines to offer the most complete and flexible solution; from complete card personalization, to card affixing to a carrier, to card inserting and enveloping with all necessary attachments, ready for distribution.
Inserter 3000 can be configured with MaxiMailer Plus for folding and enveloping the carrier and inserting leaflets.The new MaxiMailer Plus is equipped with a new carrier folding station with improved reliability and performance.MaxiMailer Plus is a multi-station system that revolutionizes the mailing process and can be adapted to various market requirements. Directly connected to Inserter 3000, MaxiMailer Plus receives the carrier with the affixed card, folds and envelops it. Other inserts such as pre-folded brochures or booklets with up to 4 mm / 16 mil thickness can be processed and enveloped.

MultiCard 2011 Software Application for Pro Series

The fastest and smartest way to manage card personalization data and graphics
MultiCard 2011 is CIM’s response to the ever increasing demand for sophisticated software for card production through intelligent and secure card data management and high quality professional graphics elaboration. Intelligent and flexible software application supports the management of different internal variable records, such as: date, time, magnetic track contents, card number and expiration date and others. Thanks to OLEDB and ODBC technologies, Instant Card can easily interface with other software programs, creating easy access to information available from any existing database and data sources such as Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft Office Access/Excel, DBF, Flat Files etc. The internal field management engine permits different field variables to be combined in the same record and fixed text to be added while partial extraction from each field is also possible. MultiCard 2011 manages and stores all information related to the actual card productions such as production date and time, batch identification, card duplications etc.

Data Input
MultiCard 2011 can import information through the use of barcode readers, encoders, chip and contactless readers and OCR technology through camera, then it formats and stores them through direct field access.

Graphics processing
MultiCard 2011 can produce complex graphical effects such as superimposition and gradients, quickly and easily. In addition, the actual design is displayed on the screen. Thus, what appears on the screen is what is actually printed on the card.

Operating environment
MultiCard 2011 is a 32bit Microsoft™ Windows™ software application. Thanks to the “multithreaded programming” technology it is stable and secure. It is written in C/C++, the fastest, ideal for real time applications and most powerful programing language for controlling in real time the hardware right down to its inner most details and lower level.

User friendly
MultiCard 2011 is very easy to use because it provides to users a convenient on-line help system. Users get familiar right from installation time as it has been build using widely acceptable data presentation standards and is installed bythe most popular installation and distribution software application in the industry that is used from all major software development companies including Microsoft™

Machines management and control

MultiCard 2011 manages and controls all CIM’s card personalization machines including the Maxima Series and the Pro Series. Machines’ setup is realized by a MS Window™ dialog box where all machines configurable components can be directly modified. MultiCard 2011 manages and controls also multiple machines connected in-line. A configuration “wizard” helps the installer or the operator to setup machine’s parameters and the printing job’s parameters easily.
