SUNLIGHT STAR

CIM's SUNLIGHT STAR is an advanced and efficient plastic cards' printer and encoder destined for organizations that require high-quality personalized cards at a reasonable cost. SUNLIGHT STAR has a modern and compact design capable of covering any printing requirement - plastic card personalization in an office environment. The printer is ideal for shops and retail chains, for government agencies, membership organizations and clubs and generally anywhere business uses itself or its customers.

The SUNLIGHT STAR is available in two different versions:

Single-sided printing
Dual-sided printing

Single-sided printing
Single-sided printing gives you the ability to print cards one side at a time, ideal for low volume production needs.

Dual-sided printing
For larger volume requirements, the optional dual-sided printing module provides front and back printing, all in one pass.

Both solutions SUNLIGHT STAR perform high resolution edge-to-edge printing of text, images, photos, graphics and barcodes in full-color. Available option, secure encoding of magnetic stripe, "smart" card, ontact και contact-less. Additionally, the 128 MB internal memory grants a significant increase in printing speed.

SUNLIGHT STAR can work stand-alone, connected to a single PC through a USB port, or on-line thanks to the ethernet connection that allows for remote sharing by many users.

This new printer is ENERGY STAR CERTIFIED for its efficiency in energy consumption.

CIM's SUNLIGHT SATURN is a fast, versatile, yet affordable card printer build with the latest generation of features and technology. Configured with a variety of available options enables personalization of any type of card, from the simplest to the most complex. Featuring a small footprint and optional two input hoppers, the SUNLIGHT SATURN is easy to deploy in any operating environment. Additionally, it is light weight and therefore cost effective to ship with a reduced impact on the environment.

SUNLIGHT SATURN is designed for small to medium production volumes and it is the ideal card printer for any application needing real-time plastic card printing.

Printing

CIM's SUNLIGHT SATURN prints in high 300 dpi resolution, edge-to-edge, with excellent printing quality. As a result of extensive R&D and attention to detail in the manufacturing process, the image reproduction is crisp and vivid both in color and monochrome.

Security

CIM's SUNLIGHT SATURN is equipped with security locks and a Kensington Security System which provides a higher level of physical security compared to traditional card printers.

Versions

CIM's SUNLIGHT SATURN is available in two versions, a basic version featuring single-sided printing and an advanced version with the dual-sided printing. Both versions are equipped with LCD displays in order to diagnose and monitor printing status with full clarity, which facilitates its easy use, as well as having an internal USB HUB in order to connect cameras and other external devices.

Configuration: Dual Input Hopper

CIM's SUNLIGHT SATURN can be configured with a dual input hopper; a total of 200 blank cards can be loaded for extended print runs. The dual input hopper can also be configured for random feeding of two different card types thus offering maximum flexibility in multi-card type printing applications.

On-Site Upgrade

New functions and features can be added to SUNLIGHT SATURN anytime in the field, to meet new or changing printing or personalization requirements. The printer can be upgraded from single-side to dual-side and magnetic stripe encoding, smart chip encoding and contactless encoding modules can be added in the field.

Cover

SUNLIGHT SATURN is also available with the standard red cover, as well as custom covers. The choice of a personalized cover allows end-users to integrate printers with every company context and is a great vehicle for emphasizing company’s brand identity.
